How soon is too soon to ask someone to hang out?

We've been talking online a little. He did imply he wanted to hang out with me this summer, I think. The subject hasn't been breached again though so I might bring it up and ask if he wants to hang out.

He's going on holiday for a week though, leaving on this Sunday. Should I ask if he wants to maybe do something tomorrow (which is really soon as we have only spoke online for a few days) or wait until he's back from his holiday?

You know what, if he wants to hang out, he will make it clear. You two talk online, he knows how to reach you and if he is interested he will make it happen.

A guy who is really interested in a girl AND already is able to talk to her and reach her, will ask the girl out. He won't be able to resist. He would ask her out before he left for town and then ask her out when he got back.

This guy is not that interested. There is no value in pursuing a guy who shows such low level interest. Typically these situations end in either the guy accepting a hang out request and then getting flaky, or the guy hanging out and nothing comes of it, or, worse case, you hang out and you have a make out session or sex and then the guy gets flaky on you.

If he is interested he will ask you to get together. Consider this, he must be at least as able to ask for a hang out as you, right?

First off, if you have only met this guy online and never in person then nooooo...you should not hang out with him at all...I mean there are a lot of very sick people in this world just looking for an opportunity to take advantage of a young person in any way. However if you still feel like you want to meet this person then if you set something up please make sure it is in a very public place and you are are not alone. Make sure you have at least 2 other people with you. I have heard wayyyy to many stories about bad things happening and I would hate to hear about another one

Wait until he's back seeing as you guys just met and all, plus during his trip you guys can get to know each other more and you can plan what to say where to go ect :D good luck

yeah right, we live in a mordern age man! if there's no internet I'm pretty sure he's gonna find it some where some how I mean I'm like tottally addicted to the inter webs I'd probly go insane with out it, BTW TV just doesn't cut it any more :( lol
