Why are most women incapable of empathizing with men?

Men empathize with women on many things that we have little or no control over like pregnancy, periods, violence against women, etc, but women seem incapable and unwilling to put themselves in a man's shoes at all. They only seem to care as how something affects them.

Well if any human being is not empathetic, it's likely because they aren't the ones at the disadvantage. We're not wired for empathy or to be understanding unless we can relate to the suffering. And dats in ooga booga.

But even if people can understand & relate, if being empathetic means that they have to from upon their way of thinking or acting, then yeah no. 🤣 Many people aren't that reasonable. Many don't see the utility in admitting to faults & changing for the better. Mainly because we're self-interested beings.

I do not know if I agree with the fact that women do not empathize with men. I used to think they didn't but then I have met some really awesome women in my life time and they definitely did. Now in relationships their is a huge difference between empathy and agreeing with someone.

I have a hard time emphasizing with anyone or anything that does not directly affect me.

I don't believe that is true, however all women are different. Selfish women obviously won't empathize because it's about them always. Someone who is caring will be empathetic.

I’ll give you one. Ask us how we are doing or how our day was. Nearly ever woman in my family, as well as girls I’ve dated and been in relationships with, routinely fail to do this. It’s baffling to me. My girlfriend would come home for work and tell me about her day, what happened at the office, and NEVER ask me about how I was doing. Several girlfriends have done this. So have my sisters. It’s like women just don’t seem to give a damn about how a man is doing or feeling. What he has gone through that day. Instead it’s just “me me me.” It just breaks you down after a while. You feel completely invisible and taken for granted.

I’m sorry to hear that. I know that some women don’t ask that, but a lot of women do. It just seems like you got a shit bunch of women who are selfish.

I woukdnt say that is true many men are vocal about things such as rape or abortion and have views women dispise I think as with all things u will find some that can and others that can't
