Girls, what would you think of a kiss on your head?

So my best friend, a girl, had a terrible day and was crying. I gave her a hug, told her it was ok and all that. Then I kissed her on the top of her head. My question is would that be something you would appreciate or would you find that weird?
It put just the smallest of smiles on her face so I think it was well received but I'm still curious

I just talked to her this morning and asked her about it. She said it was perfectly alright.

It feels slobbery. Just kiss my cheek or lips if you’re my boyfriend. If you’re just a friend, words of encouragement will do or airhug please. I dont like being touched. For her I’m sure it was sweet cause it showed that you cared. But i focus more on words of affection rather than being touched

I think it’s quite cute and comforting what you did! Everyone’s different with their opinions on affection but from the sounds of it you comforted her well since she smiled. To me a kiss on the forehead is a nice way of comforting (as long as it’s a soft kiss though🤣)

Kisses on the forehead are a different kind of kiss, a I care kiss.. if it's from a family member or partner... it's creepy from strangers (obviously)!!!

I think it's an endering gesture to show affection without being sexual! For me I'd be okay depending on how well I know the person obviously

I love it when my dad or brothers do it. I have never been kissed by my guy friend though. A kiss on cheeks is also very cute and comforts me a lot.
