Why would my friend always tell me other girls are pretty?

My friend always is commenting on other pretty girls and saying how beautiful they are or complimenting them in front of me. She even said to me that this other girl is “one of the prettiest girls ever.” Is she trying to make jealous of them or something?

I think it depends. I would feel strange if my friend told me how other girls are pretty etc.
It sounds like : other girls look fine, but you are medium 🤷‍♀️
Maybe he wanna make you feel jealous - it's possible. If it's true - he is "little bit" toxic (for me ofc)

Not necessarily. Maybe she’s genuinely just trying to be nice/supportive about other women and doesn’t realise how this is affecting you. Now if she said they were prettier than you, that would be shady. But just complimenting other women shouldn’t affect you. Another woman’s beauty isn’t the absence of your own. ❤️

This happens to me a lot. Other women will randomly tell me how pretty my other female friends are or how pretty my mom was or how pretty my sister's or daughters are but never tell me. I hear women tell other women that but it's rare I get it from another woman. Im told by men more often i am beautiful but still not hit on by them or they dont try to pick me up. I go out with friends and they get hit on more than I do! Im starting to think I am delusional about my looks and maybe I don't come of as attractive as I think. It certainly has never been hard for me to get a man but I just feel weird about it. Maybe I'm just insecure...
