I was scared of bathrooms as a kid—but of course I didn't tell anyone at the time. Mostly it was because of the sound of the toilet flushing and the fact you are always alone in the bathroom. The worst was when I was the only person in a public restroom with automatic toilets and hand driers. I always had to cover my ears when I flushed, and I have on more than one occasion rushed myself and skipped washing my hands altogether just to get the hell out of there back to some populated area.

Nowadays I'm pretty well over it, and I can enjoy a good shit, but I do still get jumpy sometimes when it's too quiet.

Now that you mention it, breathing and eye blinking are a bother. Come to think of it, having heartbeat is a bit distracting.

like if you are busy at work or out and you randomly have to use the restroom, it sucks. or you just get warm on a cold night then gotta pee, just the worst. sometimes feels liek you just dont have time for it as dumb as it sounds

@Flower7 That can be a real problem and many guy's public restrooms have only one or two stalls. Some even short partitions limiting privacy.
