Girls, what does it mean if a girl pulls a guys hair at work?

Well i have a colleague, she is so touchy, yet today I was standing in the lobby and she was passing by and she pulled my hair (I have a long hair ) is she flirting? What does it mean?

There is no specific signification as to why a person would pull someone else's hair.

Mainly if that person is in the same age group as you are, that makes actually little sense to do something of that kind. I could understand if the person would be a pre-teen or early teenager but certainly not an adult in her late twenties.

If you feel offended, then I would suggest you seek to have a conversation with her and ask her for her reasons and to refrain to pull people's hair. This is something that would highly disturb me because my hair is my property and not for people to pull and misuse.

This is totally inappropriate and an unacceptable behavior.

That’s odd. I don’t know why someone would pull hair in that manner. Especially a colleagues, it’s not really appropriate.


I know some women lol to flirt aggressively by being physical… such as light punches, slaps, squeezing, and/or hair pulling. She could be flirting, but was she smiling, frowning, neutral face? What was her facial expression?


I would definitely ask her, because I have no idea why and I personally wouldn’t do that as a way of flirting. Although, I know back when I was younger (elementary school), boys would pull on girls hair as a way of flirting.
