He definitely fancies her. I had a guy do this to me in middle school. I was the new girl and he was dropping BOMB 💣 hints lol. This was one of them. But honestly this particular one may have been unintentional. He wasn’t full on playing with my hair but like playing with the very tip (he possibly assumed I didn’t feel it), and I turned around and his face went red lol. He chuckled it off, and gave a dumb reply when I asked why he was doing that. (Can’t remember the exact words). But overall he either thought I wouldn’t notice and couldn’t resist, or he did it anyways and regardless of knowing would be shy when we came face to face.

The dude LIKED me. So any guy who tries this on you or someone you know will definitely fancy you/her- to say the LEAST. Except we were so young and maybe it was innocent though he wanted some physical aspects. It certainly wasn’t genuine love, but I did take a few jabs on his confidence.
