They're so confusing and hard to figure out & then you're left wondering if they were really interested or not because of all the mixed signals you get. And then a lot of women wonder why we call them complicated

I agree with you but sometimes it can hurt your feelings. Like I remember a guy who told me I was fat and the next day he said he was joking saying that he only "joked" because I was his friend and that he wouldn't joke like that with girls he didn't know.

That's not the case. In my example I just wanted to indicate that as men you may think that you are telling the truth or even joking about it while in reality you are just saying some things which are unnecessary or hurtful.
