Evidently some companies making period products are touting their "silent wrappers." I had no idea this would be an issue. Is this a good thing or just companies trying to create an insecurity as a marketing ploy?

I'm self conscious about the sound of unwrapping a pad or tampon and these "silent wrappers" are a good thing.

If you are in a women's restroom and don't understand what a pad/tampon is (only reason I can think of for being embarrassed by their nose) then maybe you the women's restroom isn't for you 🤔

Any lady who gets embarrassed/judges other women for using either product is just ridiculous. We're women and collective society has decided we shouldn't have to bleed all over once a month so there are products. No shame in using them lol

It didn’t make me feel self-conscious or embarrassed. It made me feel angry and annoyed.

I’ve heard it’s one of those things girls just don’t talk about it even among their inner circle of girls.
