Why do women think it's a big deal when older men want to date younger women?

Honestly as long as she's over 18, i dont care if an older dude wants to date a younger woman. But a lot of women think it's a problem for some reason

Because it ruins women entire game plan.

Women entire gameplan revolve around these steps:

1. Date/fuck the most desirable men in top 20% during their physical prime when they are their most beautiful and try to secure a long term relationship.

2. Deprive the 80% of males with love/sex so they become thirsty (give free attention) and have little to no experience in sex/love. This make it easier for girls with clear red flags to claw their hands into them and snag them up later in life when these men are desperate and don't know what they want in women and are just happy to have some woman giving them positive attention.

3. Eventual use the men mention in 2. as providers to help make their lives easier, be their unofficial psychiatrist and to make sure their offspring survives and lives comfortably.

4. Some women's alternate plan to 3 is have provider who they eventually will divorce and then take half his wealth then go back on market chasing Chad.

When men date younger, they screw up the plan because it means less providers for women to use as a safety net once they fail at securing a top 20% male as a mate. In addition, it also makes woman worry about dying alone or childless. Even if the woman has a child with some rando, women would much rather have a stable household with 2 income to ensure their offspring grows up rather than doing it as a single mother.

Often it is women that have a promiscuous past, sometimes with kids from multiple different guys from their past, and now they are angry that none of the good men are interested in them. They can only get guys for hook ups, or get guys that also have a bad past/bad morals. They wanted to "have fun" and sleep around, then once they pass 30 and realize it is too late for them they get upset at the guys that won't accept them.

My advice would be to only be with someone they are serious about because once they have an unacceptable past, it is unchangeable.
Also, the younger women that do like older guys, they should first make sure he has an acceptable past and doesn't have to pay child support to anyone. He could have to pay out a portion of his income for many years to come, which could make it more difficult for them to raise their own family if they want to create one.

Often because it seems super creepy. 18 years old is still a teenager, a lot of people are still in high school at 18, and an 18 year old girl usually will not have much in common with a 40 year old man. Usually these relationships don’t come about/aren’t fuelled by common interests, love, etc. but instead the man just wants a young girl. It’s the absolute youngest they can get, so if the law was different would they go even younger? Generally, much older men who go for 18 year olds groom them, or have some weird and wrong thing for girls who look very young/are in school/naive/sometimes easier to manipulate etc.


It’s just so weird honestly, like find someone who’s a proper adult? And actively seeking out an 18 year old specifically is focusing in only on their age, which is also really creepy, like they don’t care who it is they just want the youngest person possible.


There’s also the whole current issue with underage girls being very sexualised and the whole ‘barely legal’ thing which will take too long to get into but it’s weird

That’s so true.. it’s awful. Smh what are they gonna do when she’s not a teen anymore? Leave her for another 18 year old. Guys fetishizing this a lot these days is disgusting and shallow as heck.

She can take out a loan & have her own bank account.

@Chthou95 A lot of people under 18 can do those things too…no one said she is not ‘allowed’ to, but it is certainly pretty creepy for older men to be actively seeking out an 18 year old who, although can see rated r movies and have a bank account, could still be in school, is still a teenager, and still has a completely different mindset and maturity level than a 40+ year old man!

@Chthou95 Yes, of course it’s creepy when an older woman wants to date a younger guy! Especially if she’s actively seeking out an 18 year old! Very strange. Yes, women mature a lot faster than men, but does that mean an 18 year old girl and a 40+ year old man are on the same level? Absolutely not. The man will likely be in a completely difference place in life - like, not in high school or fresh out of high school. Does it mean that an old man searching and seeking out an 18 year old girl isn’t creepy? Absolutely not.

Also, they could be the same age as their daughter, niece, probably granddaughter in some cases.

But when the gap is too large I wonder what could they have in common.. and if they expect an 18 year old to settle down that’s kind of being naive and 18 year olds are naive at least majority but when a man who’s like 30 or 40 goes for one I think that’s gross.

I don't think most women care, but the ones that do feel most negatively about it are also the most vocal. People that are vocal on dating topics are worried about a reduced dating pool since they aren't the most desirable person on the market.
