Turned off by attractive guys?

Is this normal to happen as a girl ages? It’s like I’ve come to associate an attractive man with stupidity, shallowness or another negative personality trait. It often seems to be the case that very attractive people come with basic brains.

Careful to not judge a book by its cover. We all know what that type of thinking has done to our society... This is no different and be sure to see that. This is where change begins. In its smallest, unnoticeable form.

They are all individuals but perhaps their self image was built on the way others responded to them growing up. If the response is ideal then perhaps they see no room to grow and that is why one may be under developed.

But people who are deemed unattractive or average have just as many flaws in my experience. If you are going to find a good person you must find a person with a sturdy motive for being so. Not only that, they also must have a more than average awareness on what traits and qualities make up a good person.

Many people can be good people when they are treated well and are in a cozy room but you'll notice many people strike back at their enemies or at unfavorable circumstances. They lack versatility in regards to their mental attitude, which bleeds over into every other trait.

I am assured in the idea that no one can truly be good in a more than average way without re-raising themselves. I mean through study and applying what one has learned. None of us were taught personality and character. It is just something we are suppose to pick up on but that is the very reason you have so many people who rub us the wrong way. We were taught math to the moon but we were not taught how to co-exist with one another in the same thorough manner.

Personally I grew up praised for what I did but not my looks. However, many girls in general liked me and the girls that are from the same culture always crushed on me. But because back then I always went for the ones that liked guys that look nothing like me it shaped my self image differently. And perhaps that is why girls from my culture always say "you act so different from other guys that look like you". Basically they are trying to say attractive guys from our culture or perhaps in general coming from their perspective.

Anyway judge by individual character not by book cover. Don't determine someone is this or that because they look like that one dude who was mean.

I’m not gonna lie as I’ve aged and started getting more attention from women just based on my looks I’ll admit I have started putting in wayyyy less effort than back in like high school. I was hilarious over text message back then but now i don’t even bother trying

It happened to me too.

I rejected attractive guys all the time, since school.

That being said, I am from a family of highly attractive males, starting from my brother to my great grandfathers anyone could easily make it to Hollywood.

Not so good as a girl, I have a sharp jawline and a bit androgynous look.
