Though you got along great then the person just disappears never to be seen again?

i meet this girl last summer , at her work , we talked all the time and got along great. then near the end of the summer ( mid August ) she just wasn't there anymore and her girlfriend's who were still didn't seem to even want to talk to me about it or why.

its crazy i still haven't seen her since , honestly wonder if i'll see her again at this point although she still has friends here so maybe she'll come back but feels so hopeless at this point

was it me? her? it doesn't make a lot of sense

Girls are like that!
I met one after a Fixx concert. we hung out for an hour or two after the concert and then I walked her home, about 2 miles away (just to make sure she got home safe), then we did a good bit of kissing and hugging. We made plans to get together the next afternoon. I went to her place to meet her and she was nowhere to be found. After waiting several hours for her to come home, she did and said she spent the day with a girlfriend at the mall and that she was gonna start packing up then and there to move. Never saw or heard from her, again!!
Another girl I met at one of our gigs. By the end of the night, she was all over me like a cheap suit! She gave me her phone number, we talked on the phone a couple times ten she said she was moving to New York (at least a 6 hours drive). Never heard from her again.
I meet a girl at a gig I got talked into playing. We hit it off well that night but just talked. We bumped into each other again about a week later and she invited me to her place to talk over a pizza. After another 2 or 3 weeks, we became lovers. We spent the next 10 years together and nearly everything was fantastic! I even asked her to marry me. She said yes. A week or two later, she claims that she NEVER said yes! Everyone thought we SHOULD get married!! (Dodged THAT bullet!!) A couple years later, she decided to stop fucking me! Another couple years later, she won't even hold my hand, she claims that and my arm around her and kissing her in public shows ownership of her!! Another 2 years later, I find her cheating on me!! A year later, she drops him!! Another year or two later, she accuses ME of trying to get into the pants of her niece!! I considered her to be MY niece, too and was just telling her how incredibly pretty she got (at 17 or 18) from the last time I saw her when she was only 11!! (By the time she was 11, I was already pushing 40, if not just past it!!)
I'm sure there were a few others.

has been girls i've only seen once before at bars over the years but this was different , had seen her multiple times over the course of the summer and we seemed to get along really well and had a connection. it just doesn't make a lot of sense , she never even said bye or anything

i often though about that but she never game me anything and i've always had bad luck when trying to communicate with girls through messages. did obviously look her up online and some of the sites she uses i don't have accounts on and honestly didn't feel that it be very likely she'd reply , generally found girls from my hometown didn't reply much even to legitimate attempts at messaging them

so not really sure , had always assumed she's come back as most girls who i've meet there in the past have come back each summer , apparently she might be on a trip or staying somewhere else this summer

i really liked her back then , we just kind of meet and had this connection , it seemed real at the time , i realise i didn't go about things right back then and should of made sure i had ways to keep in touch outside of the place i saw her often. its just tough not knowing if she'll come back
