What does it mean when a woman apologizes for a joke I liked? Should I reply to her or not?

We were texting and she wrote a joke that was funny but I didn't reply back, neither I reacted. Some hours later, she sent me an apologetic text, asking me to forgive her if she made me feel bad with her ''bad joke''.

You should probably reply to her and tell you that it's alright and you thought the joke was funny, or at least that you weren't offended by it. She probably just wanted to make you laugh, and when she got zero reaction at all, she worried she'd said something wrong. Maybe she's a bit insecure, or wants your attention for one reason or another. Doesn't hurt to just let her know it's all good and she didn't do anything wrong.
