Nah nah nah. You see, nervousness, butterflies, and all of that is because of the adrenaline rush you feel when you see something you like a lot. He simply might feel the need to impress you greatly, and he might be very scared of you disliking him, hence the excessive nervousness.
He wants to make a good impression on you, so that's definitely a good sign, but keep checking 👍

Thats just a distraction with some introverts it just takes you reminding them they aren't alone. XD. I still get sass from my girl over how we had our first kiss taking her phone and telling her if she wants it to kiss me I still remember how absolutely flustered she got. XD.

And also a lot of guys in their mid 25's and 30's are also now guys that have been holding off on relationships cause they saw their friends have such turd tier relationships throughout school so its good chance a lot of guys you meet. Are gonna be very nervous as your the first girl they are actually getting close to...

It just means you need to just tell him to focus on you. Remind him kindly that the purpose of the date is to be with you in the present and give him a smile. And I'm willing to bet he will get more comfortable knowing it was a right choice to come.

Social Anxiety is a bit of a pain in the ass for a lot of people. Like I'll even admit it my girlfriend the only places I really take her are to my favorite park, my parents house or her place. Simply cause she gets overwhelmed easily so its often times I take the lead and just take her to quiet places where her mind can stay focused.
