How come girls say men suck at communication when girls don't like when men tell the truth?

A good example in my life has always been abortion or just saying how I feel. 9 times out of 10 if I told the girl the truth she would call me creepy or block me. So what incentive is there to be honest with women if the result is not getting along with them. Men adapt the while tell women what they want to hear logic because that's what really gets us laid. Obviously your gonna find out he was lying the whole time, but if we could be honest without girls running away then we would tell the truth all the time.

You are conflating lying (a form of communication, albeit a rude one) and non communication.


Usually, when someone talks about there being bad communication, it means a lack of communication. Men, socially, have been encouraged to hide their emotions and act “strong”, and often, rather than talking about whatever is bothering them, or expressing their emotions in healthy ways, will use anger and lash out at others. Other methods include putting up a front, becoming irritable and moody, or just drinking/smoking their emotions away.

But if a man is angry with me aren't you gonna interpret that differently as a woman. I won't fear him but as a girl you might, and you coping mechanisms might be to shame him or emasculate him so that he feels powerless because you don't feel powerful. I would shame a man or emasculate him because I don't feel In danger. Which all ties back to how men communicate with women. Ask any guy you know. He will tell you that he has to censor himself with woman more than with a man.

If he is angry at me, and it’s a man I trust, I would not fear him hurting me. If you have to worry about someone hurting you, then that isn’t the right relationship.

And if I did fear him, I would not use shame to emasculate him. I would call him out on his bullshit, and if he’s being an idiot, I’d tell him, but that’s not the same as shaming. I’m also not into that. A relationship isn’t about power, it’s about learning to work together to find solutions to a healthy and happy life.

The men around me who have “censored” themselves have done so because “it isn’t proper to swear around a woman,” which is more insulting because it shows they don’t consider me to be equal or appreciative of good humor.

Perhaps you should re-evaluate the people you’ve been around and focus on what a healthy relationship is supposed to be like 👍

It's biological, ever guy looks at every other guy and sizes Him up to see if they got into a fight who would win. Girls don't see guys like that, they look at men as can he be trusted

Well men are the logical one of the two sexes our brain is wired to see pattern and draw conclusions. I think it's was built that way so we didn't feel fear when we had to Hunt to survive. Women on the other hand had to fall in love with man who is Bigger and stronger than her and could kill her with his bare hands. Nothing about that is logical. So you guys had to lean into your emotional side more for survival that way you could make men care for you.

But I suppose even if we had a time machine and showed women the truth they would still get triggered so that just how emotions work I guess.

So women can't say men don't communicate, because there listen to see how what a man says makes them feel and then they go off that.
