Exactly, and you hurt his pride by removing him. He is probably the type of guy who'd get upset at rejection by ANYONE, even if they didn't matter to him.
I feel like he said that he didn’t want to see me anymore because of some misunderstanding or because he was mad at me for being late on our date. I then unfollowed him. Then couple days later I called him and he first said how he wanted to call me on Monday but because I had unfollowed him he decided not to. I asked for second chance and he said no. I really like him should I reach out to him in couple of weeks again?

I would advise against making any contact with him now. Events have been set in motion that you have no control over. Give him time to feel what it is like to miss you. IF he misses you and makes contact then you are destined for another try together.. If not? I'm sorry but it means you are going to have to accept being apart.

As long as you are prepared to give him.. Only you know the amount he means to you, therefore it would be inappropriate for me to tell you how long. One thing I will say though is. once you set that time.. if it passes? then say 'no more' and put a line under that chapter of your life.. Only then can you start afresh..
