I would say they do. It's usually more coy than shy, though.

When a man has an amazing body, women feel as though he's approached by women constantly and mostly likely talking to multiple at once. This causes them to go into "hard to get" mode. The point is, if their attraction grows into really liking the guy, they're not just like "every other girl".

Some women completely steer clear of ripped guys because they know how much sexual opportunity those guys have, and thus how much opportunity they have to cheat or move on if they're addicted to lust rather than looking for something real. Mediocre looking men don't have that opportunity, so it's easier for us to turn their lust into real feelings without them being too distracted by other women.

Yes, it happens a lot. Usually though for less than 5 minutes.. You tell them a few silly jokes and voila, no more shyness.

I think so, some girls can’t look me in the eyes
