I got to befriend my share of bodybuilders and powerlifters when I was young just clubbing all the time and being friendly with staff to the point where I worked part-time as night club security. They were the coolest guys I ever met. They might have huge muscles and know how to fight but it's like they're super cool because they don't need to fight. It is a stereotype that big guys are hotheads. Those guys don't need to fight because they'll win every single time. In my experience, they're the mellowest guys I've ever met.
Your question poses an Objective Statement with a Subjective Opinion. It's not as intimidating if people have been habituated (read: are familiar) or they otherwise display fearless dominance as a kind of dissociative state. . . ptsd, trauma, excon, combat vet. You never seent Leolo? Bruh, that's like starter kit culture.
“ Your question poses an Objective Statement with a Subjective Opinion.”
Can you explain that a little better?

There's a difference between scary and intimidating. Its safe to say most people aren't "Scared" of muscular men. but in general, large muscles are intimidating in the sense that they're immediately noticeable, command a lot of attention, and cause most individuals' natural tendency to make snap judgments based on appearance to associate the person with dominance and assertiveness. Even if subconsciously, most people will find themselves behaving more respectfully, apologizing more quickly, and feeling more reserved about confronting or correcting a man who is muscular.
Bruh muscles don’t mean shit it ain’t gonna protect you from a bullet or a man with superior fighting skills skinny dude that knows how to fight will take on the slow and bulky meat head or just shoot him
I lift and I’m really strong. Like I’m part of the 1000 lifting club, which not many people in the world are. And I’m not as heavy as most people. But anyways, I got into a fight with a skinny dude just like you said and lost because he was a trained wrestler.
I’ve been humbled since then, I know realize muscles are just something to look good and feel good and make lifting everyday things easier.
Don’t get me wrong muscles can be a very valuable asset butttt that’s only if you know how to use that asset same as a gun it ain’t gonna do much if you don’t know how to use it and shoot yourself lol
Not me, I worked next to one of those gyms so I'd see them all the time.
A lot of muscle men just look ridiculous to me, they take it to far and I feel they must be insecure about something.
wait, how did you come to that conclusion?
Its easy
it might be easy, but how'd you do it?
From experience I was like that when I was into body building my cousins that are body builders and their friends are like that only one cousin I have who is one is mellow and chill the rest have issues and like I said I say this with experience because I used to be a cocky shit too
They are obsessed (insecure) about body image, some muscles is ok, being in shape and cut, but guys like the ones you posted have some kind of ego/self esteem issues. Just my opinion
That’s a stereotype.
True, Chinese men having small penis's is also a stereotype though, and black people liking fried chicken.
Fried chicken is apart of African American cuisine. not really a stereotype. That would be like saying, Italians like garlic and pasta is a stereotype
That one dude is using synthol it’s not real muscle and not scary. Arnold on the other hand would be intimidating in his prime
Synthol? Steroids maybe, but not synthol
Not too much I'm more intimidated by cops with their guns and tasers and stuff I guess.
Yes of course people are.
