Why won't girlfriend won't kiss me?

I have been a boyfriend to this girl for a little over 2 months now. 2 weeks ago we had our first kiss. From this point she does not want to kiss me. She holds hands but says she is scared to kiss. She does not elaborate and leaves me confused. I just dont understand why and would like some opinions on this.

Maybe she’s new to this and she’s scared that kissing might lead to something she’s not ready for?

Was it a quick kiss or was it a bit more intense? Maybe if it was more intense it was just a bit too much for her at the moment.

Let her know that it’s okay if she’s not ready for anything yet and that you liked kissing her (if you did) and when she feels ready if she could explain more as to why she feels scared to kiss you.

Maybe ask if it would be okay for you to kiss her on the cheek for now until she feels comfortable kissing on the lips again.

Hey my dude, did u guys kiss right? She probably thought she kissed wrong 😑 and thought that she didn’t want to mess up and embarrass herself in front of u. Or maybe she is just to shy to kiss, especially in public or maybe her friends tease her about it and she doesn’t want people talking about the two of u. And this is coming from a guy that has never had a girlfriend lol
