Why do some people still say hi to me when I clearly dont want to reply back?

When they say hi to me, I dont say hi back. I ignore or pretend I don't hear them. Then the next time we meet, they say hi to me again.

why do some people still say hi to me when I clearly dont want to reply back? the reason why I don't say hi back is because I don't like talking to those people. they just don't seem to get the hint. Most people would get the hint but not some.

Either they still like you or they are non-verbally showing you that they can do what they want and you cannot stop them from saying hi or hello to you.
