Why would I feel disgusted? It's a natural process of the body so on the other hand, I kind of sympathize with girls having to experience pain like that and the fact that they bleed for a month non-stop.
It still amazes me how in some countries the idea of women and girls being on their period or just the topic of periods or anything sexual in nature for that matter is considered a major taboo topic. What REALLY disgusts me is how the government chooses to put sales taxes on period items.10 Reply

I'm intrigued by the science and psychology of it. I like listening to women share their experiences especially from the beginning (their first period) vs. Today.
Through listening to these discussions I've learned how to help make it easier for my female friends and SO's. I used to carry a period kit in my car just for them just in case.00 Reply

Not disgusted at all. The way I look at a womans period is that it is a natural occurring thing and I'm not disgusted by it at all!
In the past I always tried to ask permission to pull out her dirty tampon when it needed to be replaced. Ofcourse I always received the same "NO" back as answer but I'm just curious what it looks like but I'm not disgusted by it and a woman should absolutely not have to feel dirty, disgusted or ashamed about it when she is with me.
Ofcourse I understand it's not something that woman wanne show to man because it isn't how you wanne present yourself to a man but it's part of your femininity so I don't have any negative thoughts or feelings when thinking of a woman's period🤷🏼♂️00 ReplyAny man who feels disgusted about periods needs to grow the fuck up. This is a shitty thing that girls and women go through monthly. It’s not gross, it’s normal and an important bodily function. It’s necessary to create life. Guys who find periods gross are so unattractive.
So if they wanna be friends with girls, date girls and have kids with girls: they better suck it up and listen. And if she’s your girlfriend, you better spoil the shit out of her.21 ReplyI have no problem with it at all! I actually feel like it's rude to be disgusted by such an integral part of someone's life, if a woman is willing to share I'm willing to listen. I feel like shutting it down and saying it's gross is like saying "you're gross" because it's not like a woman can just shut off her menstrual cycle.
On the flip side though, I'm certainly never going to be one to ask or initiate conversations about someone's period! But if you want to bring it up and discuss hey I'm all ears I respect all parts of all people not just the "non-gross" parts20 Reply
Anonymous(36-45)+1 yWell it isn’t like we don’t know that women have periods. I do understand there are practical reasons to bring this up at times i. e. when a guy wants to have sex or she is having cramps. Also a caring husband or boyfriend might buy her tampoons if she can’t make it to the store.
But any more detail really isn’t necessary. It’s like when men get kicked in groin or we have uncomfortable “morning wood”. There might be a practical reason to bring it up but we just don’t talk about it for the hell of it. It’s either painful and/or embarrassing (trying to urinate when you have an involuntary erection is a pain in the ass)00 Reply
+1 yI usually feel alright but I may feel a little weird or uncomfortable but I will still try to be tolerant because its normal and they need someone they can joke around with or talk about them with so they feel comfy and get through it easier, so I try to jus normalize it

+1 ySay it is just a random female, that could be awkward. But, obviously, as a guy, I will never experience a period. But, I have studied the human body and know (well, as much as I can) how the body works. So, say when my wife talks about it, I listen, give my opinion (if it's needed) and we move on. I mean, it is totally a natural thing, nothing to be afraid of. I've had ex partners, we would have sex while they were having their period, no oral sex, of course. Yeah. It was kinda messy, but we have soap and water, washes right off, put a towel down, throw it in the washing machine. Done. And please, I apologize to anyone that read this and became nauseous, just sharing my opinion and experience.
00 ReplyI think sincerely it’s pretty normal. It’s a natural matter that occurs around once a month, it’s natural like the high tide, the snow during winter, the sun rising and setting, so there’s nothing shocking talking about it.
It involves blood so maybe blood sensible persons can be impressed but this doesn’t mean they have to be disgusted.
People that are disgusted by that are priests or people living in Middle Age.00 Reply- 1.9K opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic.
u +1 ynope... quite normal
lived with my girlfriends... been best friends mostly with girls and women for the last 20 years so, it would be quite immature and stupid of me to feel grossed out at this point
it is just a natural thing, and I'm a grown up as well00 Reply - 838 opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic.
+1 yI feel informed. If women hadn't told me about periods, I would have been totally clueless about them, and would not have realized that they're perfectly normal.
It was very interesting to learn that women in a group, say working together in an office, synchronize their periods over time so that they all ovulate and menstruate at the same time. It's evidently nature's way of ensuring the best offspring via competition.00 Reply I basically don't care. I kinda can't relate to having a period though. So it's tough for me to contribute to the conversation. It's like when you hang out with two friends who have known each other for a long time and all they talk about is memories they have from before they met you.

20 ReplyI feel like having a drink and not listening to her because I can't relate to whatever she is saying and she won't respect any input I may say so I return the question back to you, why do women talk or want to talk to men about that
Best thing I found is to leave go play golf work on the car in the garage just avoid her till its done than come back in the house and act like nothing happened00 Reply337 opinions shared on Girl's Behavior topic. It's not really a subject I need much information in. So keep it short and to the point. If it's a health thing, go to the doctor and have the discussion. 00 ReplyConsidering I have dipped my sword in the forbidden crimson on 2 occasions with 2 different partners I don't particularly feel weird talking about it.
That being said I don't particularly like period sex to be honest00 Reply

00 ReplyI had my "stag" do last weekend but chose to have it with all female friends, we spent a good part talking about periods, breast feeding, kids... :D... it was fine, its just a natural part of the world

00 Reply As a guy from a guy's perspective, males don't have to deal with their genitals bleeding once a month or the cramps and other side effects that come along with it. If a woman [particularly a friend] wanted to talk to me about her period I'll listen. It's a conversation I believe to be of privacy & trust.

Asker+1 yWell funny cuz this morning I had an argument with a dude from a game and we have a groupchat. I told him I have a period so everything is irritating to me. Well he started it first so. Every dude there in groupchat just send a blush emoji and laughing emoji
Asker+1 yBecause we are shy to talk about it because you guys won't understand us. So
Opinion Owner+1 yis a number of girls i talk to all the time who work at a pub here , there pretty open about things but have never talked to me about there period , if there on birth control or if they use tampons or not. its just not the kind of thing that ever comes up
although one girl did get upset at me cause i left the toilet seat up or down? i can't recall just remember she had an issue about it but was late and she was drunk too
Opinion Owner+1 yi wouldn't be at all interested in talking about her period although it would be helpful to know if she was on the pill or not if we were going to be sexually intimate , so i'd know what i was dealing with and if there was a risk or pregnancy or not
I’d probably rather not hear it, but doesn’t really bother me. I certainly don’t really want to know any details. Lol
