Menstruation is a normal biological thing though... I don't mind women asking me to pick up pads, tampons, and other feminine hygiene products.

It's gross. I don't go around talking about the massive shit I this morning or any of the other natural body functions I have going on either. I don't understand why people have this idea that keeping private about something means you're just overwhelmed with shame and oppressed. It's very weird behavior.

That's quite an interesting stance, but if I could play devils advocate, talking about your period usually has purpose behind it (e. g. to let your partner know when it's their safe day, to learn they're reproductive cycles, picking up pads/tampons, general hygiene conversation, etc), but talking about your faeces usually doesn't have any purpose (unless it's about abnormal changes in your digestion or the faeces in question). Are you talking about when some ladies just randomly bring up their period and start trying to make it a topic of conversation? If so, then I understand it's quite strange although I'm not disturbed by it.

@saurons Yeah, it's different if it's being brought up because of health reasons. But when women bring it up to just talk about then I don't want to hear it because it's disgusting.

She never says it like a warning, she just always casually mentions it like it's something I should know about, which I find funny. In my experience, that's usually something women only tell their husbands, boyfriends, or other girls. It's like she's trying to make her vagina my business hahaha
