Why do women like to touch my head?

Growing up I've noticed that women like to touch my head. I mean this is going to sound weird but multiple times throughout grade school and high school I've had girls stroking my hair. I mean in high school anytime I cut my hair one of the first things I'd hear is some teenage girl asking if she can touch my hair.


Worth note I'm dirty blonde and I have thin hair. (But I will admit I have a remarkable hairline)

The only little bald spot I have is the scar where a Pitbull ripped my head open

Yeah this happened when I was like 4 years old

I also got a neat little scar on my eyebrow where the dogs tooth got caught on my eye socket

No I did have to have my head stapled shut

But if I've learned anything from that experience it's that I shouldn't be afraid of dogs because if a pit bull couldn't kill me when I was just 4 years old then it surely can't kill me now
