What do you think of women who wear heels to look taller?

usually that's not the female intention behind wearing heels, but i have see 1/2 friends in college circles who have admitted of wearing them for height reason

I like short girls, so the height thing isn't a reason why I like heels on women. And one thing I despise are those god awful heels with platform soles. .

I think women's legs look great in heels. But the heels don't have to be more than 3". Over 4" starts getting ridiculous.

I know that some women wear heels to gain height because I had a girlfriend who was 5'2" and and ALWAYS wore heels unless she was jogging, working out, or at home.

On time I actually asked her why she always wore heels and she said the thought her legs looked funny without them. In reality, she had the sexiest legs ever. But I think she believed that her legs were short or something. Well, SHE was short but her legs were perfectly proportioned.

One time we spent a weekend in San Francisco and she walked the entire town, up and down hills, wearing corky-wedgie sandals. I don't know how she did it, but the shoes didn't seem to bother her at all.

That is the whole point of them lol. Otherwise you would just wear millions of shoes out there that look nice without the downsides.
Unless if one is implying ones are that dumb to wear something with more downsides just because when there is a million of other things they could wear to look better.

Anyway to me it's off putting to be friends with someone you see everyday at collage or something then when you got to the club she's there but all sudden taller lol.
That somehow throws things off.
So not a big fan.

I'm 5ft and I do this myself. Sometimes I feel naked without my heels on. Especially when next to my 6ft2 boyfriend I feel like everyone is looking and laughing at us because I'm so small compared to him.

I suppose that's fine. They seem like a pain to wear so if being a few inches taller than usual makes up for it and lets us have you look a little extra dressed up I'll take it.

Didn't think girls cared much about their own height outside of extremes.

Girls don't need to. They are good as they are. No need for such hacks.

Although I should also point out that the height increase can bring confidence but not for long. I would even call it handicap for that matter.

And then there are the problems while using heels. They are severe problems I have heard.
