Her boyfriend is in the bathroom lol is usually my first thought but let's start with i dont go to the bars anymore but back in the day when I saw a girl alone at the did I would first check her out and decided whether or not i like her or not than watch her for awhile to see if she was with someone and they were just away for a bit or maybe she's waiting for someone if nothing happened or nobody came i would go stand next to her when am getting another drink maybe say hi than go back to what and where I was, if I like her I continue to chip away with little things till I was able to sit down a talk to her and get to know her better if everything still was going well spending more time with her till it was time to go and hopefully get her back to my place
Never pushing to hard always giving her "out" and respecting what she said and wanted and at the same time expressing my intentions its a balancing on one leg trying to juggle act at times one slip and everything crashes to the floor, wiped out but hope still remains

Otherwise, it's normal. I've gone to bars (I don't know if they're bars - lounges? Restsurants with bars?) alone before and I'm just there enjoying myself. I don't expect company, but unless they're an obviously straight man, I won't necessarily turn them down or away.

I've been in quite a few bars in the last year alone and the odds of seeing a woman by herself are slim.
Sometimes you see a woman sitting alone but usually someone else is with her, in the bathroom or ordering a drink or smoking.

So I would be curious to know why she's out alone. But how much am I willing to go ask depends on the woman herself

3. She is tired of getting stuck at home and just wants to get out
4. She just had a fight with her SO and needs to cool down
5. She's hoping some guy will buy her a drink

I have yet to see that. I have only ever seen a girl with other girls, other guys, or a mix. Never have I witnessed a girl sitting at the bar alone. If I had, I would sit next to her and strike up a conversation. It's always fun talking with new people at the bar.

She is there for a couple drinks I might say hi to her but the likelihood is she’s there for a couple drinks which she can pay for herself I’m single so I have to take my chances. But the likelihood is she there for a couple drinks after work and not there to get hit on. As I single guy I have to respectfully make a move or I’m not getting anywhere on the dating sense. Work has taken me to a lot of places... I am sure work takes a lot of women to a lot of places. I will check into a motel room, go down and have dinner. Often then I will go have a drink (alone) so why would a woman not do the same thing?

I think they're comfortable enough with themselves to go alone and confident enough to feel safe doing it, It's attractive. I always wait for a few moments of eye contact before approaching them to make sure I'm not intruding on existing plans though
