Why does she suddenly start using my name in conversations?

I’ve been talking to this girl and recently she started calling me by my name. Whether it’s over text or in person, she has been using my name an unusual amount, but not in the past.

And on top of that, she has been saying Pat instead of Patrick, even though everyone calls me Patrick.

What could be the reason?

I use people's names almost every time I address them. It helps especially when I meet new people because I'll say their name and then the next minute I usually forget. So if I say it over and over when talking with them, I remember for next time. Now if she does that all the time, maybe she's trying to tell you something 😉. But it's hard to say for sure. And why does this leave you puzzled?

She probably just wants to be closer to you. In that book, it talks about how saying someone’s name can really help with strengthening relationships. 🙂
