Why does she suddenly start using my name when talking to me?

So this girl I’ve been talking to recently started calling me by my name. Whether it’s over text or in person, she has been using my name all of a sudden. What could be the reason? Is she flirting or friend zoning me?

And on top of that, she has been saying Pat instead of Patrick, even though everyone calls me Patrick.

See if you can compare how often she uses other peoples' names when talking to them. Is there a difference?

Some people do it consciously, use peoples' names, as they know it personalizes the exchange. Others do it without really being aware.

She's not friendzoning you. But she's comfortable with you. You can't presume much more than that.

Just being friendly. They say that if you use a person's name when talking to them you get a better reaction.
