Girls friends keep mentioning her name to me?

When out at night I meet a girls best friends of a girl I was with before and worked with , but when chatting to her friends they always mention her name to me why are they doing this even when I don't know her friends to well I did tell the girl I liked her before ?

I would definitely agree with everyone else in that she may be into you and talking you up to her friends. They're trying to help her out by mentioning her name so that you can think about her...my friends do this all the time, embarassingly.
