Should I not be offended?

Me and this girl went on dates for awhile then she decided she just wanted to be freinds which is no big deal fine. Though I thought it was going well and that we had a lot in common. Here lately she's been complaining to me that she can't find a guy to date etc... Should I not be insulted by this? Why tell the guy you basically rejected that?

That’s inconsiderate on her part. It would be different if you were friends all along and never dated. But the fact that you have dated and she ended up rejecting you, and then saying this… Yeah, I can see how that can feel insulting.


I guess she’s pretending that she can rewind time and that you’re just a guy friend she can complain to about other guys. It’s as if she’s pretending you’ve never dated her.


Based on this, she doesn’t sound like a very empathetic person.
