Was I wrong to be offended?

My cousin was giving me advice the other day about living in an apartment and I was offended.

I did not get straight A’s at a top school and work 7 days a week for 51 weeks a year because I wanted to live in a rundown apartment building.

She also tried to force me to change my wardrobe so I could find a boyfriend.

I did not devote over 20 years of my life to studying religion because I wanted a superficial guy who dates me based on the colour of my vests or the style of pants I wear.

I know I will be filthy rich cause I have invested so much into living a good life and God knows that I deserve to be filthy rich.
