How much does social status and success matter for a girl?

Is social status and success attractive to a girl? I have a friend with 70,000 followers and is verified on Instagram, Facebook, and Twitter.

He says he hooks up and finds majority of the girls through Instagram. Ladies, would you say it’s easier for him to get girls if he’s got “Internet-clout” or a verified badge?

Are girls more inclined to like a guy or give him a shot based off of his social media presence?

Girls, can you explain how you would feel if some average looking guy with a bunch of followers and a verified badge cold slid in the DMs with you?

It completely depends on the person. I would say that most women would expect (and maybe even prefer) their man to have less of a presence than they do. This is relative, where she might post once a week, and might expect his social feed to be active once a month, or she posts once every 4 months and expects him to like his 'happy birthday' posts from relatives.

If course, the one exception to this night be girls interested or wctively pursuing an 'influencer' type lifestyle, where if he has more followers it's mixed with 'professional success or attractiveness.'

I can't speak about social status, but I think it's weird for a girl who posts everyday to be with a boy who never posts ever, or vice versa. People start fights over stuff like this, because it shows how open you are with your life, what you do in your spare time, and who you spend it with. It's all relative and folks just have to agree on what's enough or not enough.

It depends on what the man is like as a person.

A man could be the most handsome, famous man in the world, have billions of dollars, but STILL be an asshole.

My mom came from a wealthy and had the nicest thing and went on exotic vacations
My dad came from a very poor family (I'm not no electricity, gas, empty cupboards and boiling water on a little fire poor)
And their still together and happily married 40yrs later because (as my mother put it) she was dating HIM not his home

I don't want to be famous and I'm not that into social media. But I do want to be successful one day and have my dream job. I don't care if a guy has little or no presence on social media. I also don't judge a person from their looks. It's how they act that matters. I'm not that arrogant.

Having 70,000 followers on social media has nothing to do with success or social status. I’m looking at your age range, and honestly it’s self explanatory. Girls your age are usually superficial/naive and think a guy like him has interest in them to a point of a relationship when in reality your friend is probably way too self absorbed and acts like a player

I think that it matters a lot for 98% of women. Then there is the other 2% that think that finding a man with whom they have a good emotional and sexual connection is what matters most. But in today’s society, most women are interested in the status and success of a man because they see it as a promising and comfortable future of their offsprings.

When it comes to hooking up I’m more inclined to give someone a chance based off their looks and wether or not they seem like they can satisfy me if you don’t match that criteria it’s a no even if you show me your thousands of followers

I personally would avoid dating guys with a large following on social media. It’s such a turn off for me.
