What do women think about the "All women are either gay or bi" stereotype?

I heard that straight women think other women are way more attractive than men, and that they check out other women all the time. So doesn't that mean that every woman has a little bit of lesbian in them? I don't know, what's your take on it?

Utter nonsense.

The reason it's thought quite commonly nowadays, however, is because of recent changes in the upcoming generation. Young females are declaring themselves to be lesbian and bi in numbers much larger than ever seen before. It's most common in this age/generational demographic.

There's also some influence, throughout all age groups, of more acceptance of non-hetero sexuality, so while some are still prosecuted (and killed, such as in Russia), many feel more free to express whatever they are feeling. It's still risky, but less so than in decades past. (Although, Greeks and Romans were openly bisexual back in their heyday, and nothing was apparently thought of it. So it hasn't been a straightforward progression throughout history. It's actually ebbed and flowed, just not in the past 100 years or so.)

The vast majority of women are not lesbian. And looking doesn't mean sexual interest, nor suppression of interest. Females like looking at other women, in terms of style. There is also a deep-seated element of competition, and envy, but that goes with everyone to varying degrees. And have you ever tried not to look at cleavage? It stares you in the face, and then we're all supposed to pretend that the woman doesn't know exactly what she has done, showing it. It's a game, and we're all participants, like it or not.

Well I'm 100% straight so this stereotype isn't true. If I see a pretty girl/lady I'll admire her beauty but not sexually. It's like when you see a gorgeous art piece you just think it's beautiful. I do think that a women's body is more beautiful than a man's because it just is. To me the women's body is beautiful and a man's body would be sexually attractive since I'm straight. I can't quite call a man's body "beautiful" lol. The word just isn't right.

I know women can judge the sexual attractiveness of another female even when she doesn't want to lick the cheese and sour cream out of a taco. I think it's because they compete with each other for possible mates in very different ways than us dudes. I look at another dude and I can only judge if I can beat him up or not.

And as far as I can tell that's the big difference. Dudes that look at me and tell me I'm ugly only get one reaction, "Are you a man-butt lover, how can you tell?"

I think those dudes are definitely man-butt lovers.

Women check out other women because they are comparing their attractiveness to their own. Don't get me wrong tho, some women are at least curious about other women sexually, but women often only entertain the idea because men entertain the idea. Our societies acceptance and even obsession of girl on girl action has allowed women to freely explore and discuss the idea, so you'll hear a lot of women being open about the topic as a result.

I can't compare women and men when it comes to attractiveness. They're just different. "THEY DO BE BUILT DIFFERENT" But I what I can say is that I'm not sexually attracted to women.

I can definitely appreciate a good looking women in my taste but I am a straight women so wouldn’t say that I think about it sexually, so the stereotype is wrong and I guess it goes the same for guys
