Why do women tend to post fewer opinions on questions of a scientific/technical nature on this site (Girls ask Guys)?

That might be true. If so it's a bit of a "dead end" culturally speaking.

As someone who is into such diverse hobbies as building Tesla Coils, Painting and Cooking, I hoped my diverse interest-set was now the norm.

So cool. I'm into electronics repair and projects because of my fascination with guitar effects, but I am also an avid reader. An all-around education makes for a more interesting person.

I like that you paint. I am artistically challenged in that area. I can barely draw a straight line with a ruler.
