Why do so many women ask so many rhetorical questions on this site? ?

You know what I'm talking about. Questions like. "He kissed me, does he like me"? Anyone who wouldn't already know the answer to this would be dead. Because they'd be so stupid they'd forget to breathe. So why do women do it? I think most of you do it because you just like the attention. That the ones that do are so used to playing dumb that it doesn't even register as a dumb question to them anymore.

I've seen this shit a lot... Not even that long ago I told someone they are making it hard for me not to be a troll. I mean the question will be so stupid it really makes me want to just troll. ... to be fair though, I see a lot of dudes doing it as well, so in my opinion, I don't think it's gender specific. Statistically maybe... but I think it's besides the point or base reason as to why a person does this shit in general (male or female). I think the reason is the same between the genders is what I'm really trying to say. We all know that bitch ass dude that does bitch shit.

With that out of the way... why do they do it? Sympathy, interaction, or even trying to see if others relate, or get others to relate. In my own case, I think I've done it as a joke... thankfully everyone that replied knew it was just a joke post... basically making fun of exactly what you're talking about here. You're right though in my opinion women on this site do it way too fucking much. Read this person's mind that you've never seen or even spoken to for me questions. It's annoying.

I think you hit the nail on the head. It's different when you know it's in jest rather than intended as a weapon. That's why I tried to give the specific example I did. A question can be weaponized. But I don't see how that particular one could be taken offense to. Other than we as guys know that type of woman who feign ignorance about everything. Be cause she just LOVES to play up the "I'm just dumb innocent girl angle". To quote the movie FIGHT CLUB, "she's a predator posing as a housecat".

That's not just on this website. I've noticed that a lot of women say/do things like that as a way of exploring the issue. It's like when someone asks you a question, you respond, and then add another piece of information that totally changes your answer.

I think they ask these questions to explore the boundaries their daily events generate and also to learn the full throttle of implications, possibilities and limits each of these static events have and also to understand how their unique experience correlates with the experience of others if the circumstances and personalities in each situation are diverse and non interchangeable. It’s an exploratory question and not a self-glorifying question or a purely semantic and grammatical structure and they may also seeking emotional reenactment by asking the question to build their habituation to the event and sense of reconstituted stability after their encounter. I do not believe young people fixate on logical semantics devoid of experience and privileged self experience.

Women often look for reassurance that they are reading people correctly, and making the right decisions. So they often ask someone a question that they already believe they know the answer to.
