Why so few women answer questions here?

I mostly get mens opinions on questions here and see it on most questions asked here no matter the subject. Are there more men here?

As for the question, I think a lot have to do with the questions that are asked. There are TONS of sexual questions. Now, I am not saying that is all you ask. I am just saying that the girls here are more selective.

A lot of it has to do with us answering any sort of sexual question and then getting DMs like crazy. I don't like to talk sex in DM. I really don't like to talk sex on the forum either. I will occasional answer those questions that are legit. You won't find me (seriously) answering "Do you like facials?".

So, while I do think there are less women on the site in comparison, I also think it is because we are more selective about what we want to answer.

I was just discussing this with another user. I have my invite notifications turned off, but I will 99% of the time opine on a question if someone asks me in DM or tags me. I just don't have time to do it on every question users want my opinion.

I’m pretty selective too and harass women on here but there seems to be a lot of that happening to women so maybe they are scared to answer even anonymously, as far as the topic that’s OK I guess where it is

Not that I know much about what is discussed politically considering it is US-centric for the most part.

I'm not sure of the demographics on here, but I believe there are more men than women on this site (reminds me of dating sites, lol).

Also, it depends on the questions asked-
If it's something men can relate to more than women, of course you'll get more replies from men than women.
I've noticed women tend to reply more to casual, fun questions than serious topics (ie: politics, world events).

Personally I dabble in dating, relationship, health, and general topics. Just browse around and pay attention to what type of questions draw female responses.

The site is called girlsaskguys for a reason. It's not called guysaskgirls. Because the site creators know that generally women will not answer a question that does not benefit them in any way. Also women whenever their mouth is moving 50% of the time a lie is coming out. There really is no reason to ask a women a question, well... ever. 🤣🤣🤣

If you want more women responses you have ask question that motivate them to respond. Ask them if they have another woman they work with that they don't like. And ask how they feel about her. I guarantee you the floodgates will open and she talk your f***ing ear off. 🤣🤣🤣

Women aren’t that desperate to come here, they more experienced then men.

1/4 of the girls here are probably guys, so yes, there are way more guys here. Therefore, there are probably 4 guys to every girl here.

I do not know the exact answer but I will point out that everywhere on the internet where there is sex talk or flirtation going on, it is almost always more guys unless it is a "girls only" site and even then there are still guys, it is just how people are I think.

I’ll answer some questions, but the longer I’ve been on GAG the more selective I’ve become about which ones I’ll answer. I avoid political and religious questions, as I think most women here do. There are some who ask questions that aren’t really questions, they’re crafted to voice an inflammatory opinion and insult anyone who disagrees with them.

There are women here 24 hours a day because they ask tons of "Do you think he likes me" type of questions with a long paragraph of details that nobody answers, lol.

The guys are asking "What do you think about this dick size" questions that nobody wants to answer either.

I think it is some experiences some women on here have had with the men on here, sadly. I do not mind answering and helping out though! It is in my hands who I talk to yes or no, and whatever I feel like commenting on :)

Because people on this site don't seem to like anons as they are mostly considered trolls. Think about it. How many questions really need to be asked anonymously? We are all anonymous anyway. The only reason to be anonymous is you don't want anyone to know what person is trolling.

The reason I don't always give opinions with my user name was that I noticed it was the same users picking arguments with me and I suspected they must have been stalking my profile. I know I could just lock my profile but I when I post anon I don't get into as many arguments with those specific users.
