Why do females ask personal questions?

Males do it sometimes too but usually it’s because they’re trying to get laid by pretending to be interested in you as a person. When females do it, it makes me think they’re trying to gather information so they can gossip or find a way to mentally harass and torture you out of envy or hatred. The whole two faced thing. Why ask me personal questions off the bat? Super intrusive and weird. Just act Normal and talk about mutual interests why does it have to get personal right away?
