Do girls enjoy rejecting?

A girl who my co-worker, flirting like how beautiful my hands looks and wrist etc and giving extreme hints that she likes me. I asked her out and surprisingly she rejected.. I would have accept it happily but what makes me wonder is why she does all this.. I'm completely pissed off. I decided not to approach girls any more.

I didn't enjoy it, no. I find it very hard to say no to a guy because I take his feelings into consideration by my response. I mean hey, I've been rejected LOTS of times and I remember that hopeless feeling too, it sucks. Like my highschool crush flat out rejected me and laughed about it in my face. :/
