So I went to eat with a friend, and I saw this cute waitress. (She wasn’t our waiter by the way). After eating I approached her, she was busy, but I wanted too. She didn’t seem annoyed, I said a compliment and asked her number. She said she is really busy, and asked if I came here often. I said yeah, and she said when she sees me again she’ll make it a point to give it to me. Success?

She managed to get rid of you and this is not really a very correct way to approach someone that is working just to ask her for her number. You could have had her get into trouble for preventing her from doing her job just because your testosterone ordered you to disturb her.

I see it that she needed some space right away and the best method, without upsetting a customer, was to send you on a wild goose chase.

What do you think? How many testosterone filled guys pull the same trick on that poor girl day in and day out? You are yet another one.

Give her a break and whatever you do, never disturb a person at work because of such trivial things. She is on minimum wage and does not need to get fired because she is constantly being prevented from doing her job.

Honestly though, ill lean to a no. Waitresses get hit on all the time and find ways to politely dismiss requests without coming off rude.
