"All men are pigs" "women are meant to be seen, not heard", etc. How do you respond?
+1 yMy response is do not hang out with toxic people. Good rational people overcome the brain washing of the parents and religious institutions with corrupt rules and teachings.
While the sheep and toxic people choose to remain with the "status quo" of false programming and brain washing b. s. that society and/or parents have brought up to them.
For example, my dad had the nerve to tell my mother not to teach me how to cook because cooking is..., and I quote "women's work'. He would not even let me learn how to clean the dishes. Which is totally b. s. I realized my dad was wrong when I got to college and became a starving student that ate Ramen noodles way too much because I did not how to cook. Plus not letting your sons know how to cook is going to make them fat because they go out to fast food places way too much.
Just treat everyone around you the same way you Want to be treated no matter what. With decency and respect, and always on equal footing with you regardless of their sex, religious views, skin color, eye color, hair color, etc.10 Reply

They're comments on the internet. Get used to them and don't take them seriously. Young people have no idea what the Wild West of the internet was like prior to 2010. Like, the stuff you see now is SO F'CKIN' TAME compared to the good ol' days where there were no limits. WorldStarHipHop videos, suicide videos, Tiananmen Square clips, that crazy fat black guy who live-streamed his murder spree and shot an old man live on Facebook... You have no idea.
Don't take internet comments seriously. Hell, don't even take real life sexist comments seriously.30 Reply
Anonymous(25-29)+1 yYou mean on the internet? Since that seems to be the main assumption. I usually ignore them, though I sometimes respond if they're directed towards me. I'll usually respond with sarcasm, since they sound ridiculous. As for real life, it's more passive, like "well, I don't know". Call me a coward, but I wouldn't like to be that girl people hate. I already have a lot of trouble with social situations.

+1 yI find that childish comebacks like "I know u are but what am i?",🖕👅, or straight mocking them gets the point across that I disagree without getting myself riled up. And if they get all riled up, well then they just look silly by trying to seriously engage me when I'm being silly.
I have been smacked doing this, so I wouldn't recommend it for dealing with really emotional people. They need a little more tact than that. Plus if they're a big dude then they smack really fuckin hard. So yeah be careful.
10 ReplyWell you probably heard most guys are pigs from me anyway so I can't really respond to that one girls are supposed to be seen and not heard I don't believe in that at all my grandparents used to say that about my brother or sister and cousins so really if I heard all guys are pigs I would probably agree with it and if I heard somebody say girls are supposed to be seen and not heard I would tell them to get a life
10 ReplyBetter that than racist comments.
If women do so with my gender, its honey to my ears. Like getting roasted.
once at work I got a pencil for a girl and broke it accidentally before giving her the sharpener. Then I said its her fault for trusting a man with that job. She called me a fool.10 Reply
