A girl who is taller than me slapped me multiple times, and threw a chair at me because she thought I cheated on her friend. I only look like the friend's ex. I don't even know her, and she came with no warning and hit me in the ear. My hearing is still fucked up. I was going to fight her back but a group of guys immediately got rough with me and pushed me down and were very clearly hostile. I wanted to just say fuck it and fight everyone, but then I'd be the bad guy 🙄

This is a lose-lose situation. I was brought up to not hit a girl unless she is actually physically causing permanent harm to me, or any harm to someone else, and even in that case restrict rather than injure.

As a matter if principles I think if she attacks you, going as far as to throw a cupped fist at your ear (the lethal variant of a bitch slap - it can theoretically kill although of course that's not likely) that more than warrants a quick elbow to settle things.

But well, I'd also have stopped you were I there. Even if I do sympathize with and agree with you. That said I'd also have stopped her. I'm a busybody.

I was raised to not hit a girl under any circumstances. I suppose if she came at me with a knife or a gun I would fight back but I was abused by a girl a few times and used to just restrain her. She had issues and it was not her fault.
