Should I give her the cold shoulder?

there's a woman I see regularly at a bar I drink in and she has shown strong signs that she likes me, the usual signs frequent staring at me, close proximity and when she talks to her friends they always look across at me.

I thought thinks were promising then a bombshell was dropped on me that she was married. I have since shown her no attention but she has reacted angrily to this, repeatedly huffing at me as she passes where I sit.

I don't make plays for married or attached women, so I am puzzled why she is showing so much interest when she is obviously committed to another guy.

I dont know if I am going about this the right way by giving no attention, I hate being ignorant.

I would give her the cold shoulder. Especially after the way she is acting, which pretty much sounds like an immature child that didn't get her way or what she wanted. The fact that she is married is enough to just ignore.

Good on you for not being "that guy" that gets in the middle of a marriage. As for her? I would completely ignore her. She sounds like nothing but trouble to me. Even in the short details you give about her behaviour sort of makes me cringe.

Whether her marriage is rubbish or not, she is not a good person and not someone I would want to be involved with even if not married.

Sounds incredibly unstable and childish. That is a huge red flag and someone to steer clear of to be sure. Maybe find a different place to go have a drink for a little while she finds a new guy to latch onto and help ruin her marriage.

I have certainly no intention on being a person who causes multiple family problems,
I hate having to stop going to a bar I love because of this, but I may have to consider it.

Yeah, you shouldn't have to change because she throws fits but might be your only option until she gets over it. I don't see it as a permanent thing really.

It sounds like she just likes attention. She wants to be married and flirt around, maybe? Stay away from those types of women. They have loose morals.

Yes. She did it because she's mad at you for not giving her attention/validation.

No one says that you can't be a friend, married people can have friends, nothing wrong with that.
My dad used to say you can't have too many friends, and maybe she has a lot of hot single friends.
Remember, it's not what you know, it's who you know.

You will be suprised how well face to face communication can work in situations like this, instead of guessing.

What I find mist amazing about the whole scenario is that her friends know all about it. Being her friends surely they must know about her husband, they seem to condone what she's doing.

If a friend of mine was doing this I would dissuade him or her strongly against this behaviour.

I hate giving people the cold shoulder, but I don't see much other option in her case. If I give her attention again the situation is going to get worse, I am certainly not being the cause for a broken marriage and family turmoil.

it may go either way but the hurt will be over my dad used to say (when I was 17ish) be in bed by 10 o Clock or come home. it's a way of get in, out or moving on

I am not going to take any risks with her, no chance of that.

I have never entertained seeing married women and thats not going to change.

I look at it this way I wouldn't want my wife seeing other men if I was married, you don't do unto others what you wouldn't want done to yourself..
