long story short 5 years ago at my job i met this girl who was going off to college after the summer.

we both were into each other i fucked up by saying something i should not have said.

To answer your question: you can be mad at whomever you want. Don't kidnap her or do schoolahooting over this, but calling her a whore is completely acceptable of it makes it easier to process your emotions.

@Matthew2024 If you're asking girls out just to get a girlfriend and not because you actually like the girl, they can tell. ESPECIALLY if you're asking out every girl in the school. People talk, and if you're notorious for asking out every girl you talk to, girls are going to brace themselves for interactions with you. There was a guy who did something similar in my highschool (though not as extreme), and it always came off like even if he truly believed he was being genuine and heartfelt, he was pretty shallow, and projected hard onto the girls he pursued.

Best advice I can give you is to focus on yourself. Getting a girlfriend doesn't mean anything if you don't have a genuine affection for her and strong friendship foundations. It seems like its not because you're awkward, but because you seem to have a single minded focus on getting girls to go out with you. Girls like it when guys have stuff they care about going on in their lives. I think you need to take a step back, be patient, and wait for a real connection while working on stuff that makes you happy. Try developing friendships with girls you're not trying to pursue. (And not a fake friendship where you're secretly hoping she'll fall in love with you!)
