Girls, do women feel exposed in a bikini?

is it just me or are bikini and basic underwear for women are like the same thing. I mean they show the same amount of skin? Girls, does it feel like you're wearing undewear at the beach or is it different? if so then why?

Yes when I wear them I am exposing myself BUT it's at the beach or pool where you are "expected" to wear that

I feel a lot more exposed wearing a bathing suit than not wearing one. Bikinis accent your boobs and butt and make people look at those areas. It's strange but going nude is a lot less sexual.
