Ladies serious question what thought process here, why do women do this?

So first off I know its not going work out, so don't just tell me she's not into me. I got that and am over it. But whats the deal why do this? Whats the thought process?

You meet this women on line, you exchange numbers. You chat for three days. But its like chat for 5 minutes she ghosts for hours. Then she sends you pictures of her, just selfies honestly. Nothing explicit. You chat 5 minutes again she ghosts. Next day she chats good morning and ghosts. Send pics again, ghost for hours then send pic says good night and ghosts. This goes on for days.

At first I thought it was a scam, but she's definitely who she says she is, verified it, Googled it and she works were she said she said she works. She knows all about the local area, like very specific details... so she's a real person. When you ask to meet or set up a date she ghosts... which is fine. But why text again the next day and send pics like you didn't just ask her out and was ingored?

Whats the piont? What do you think the thought process is? Whats the game?

So I asked here to take a selfie of herself with her touching her nose. I said " I know its kinda of weird, but humor me. Since you're good at picks send on of you touching your nose."

Again thought I'd hear nothing back, but then this selfie pops in and she's touching her nose. So she's wanted to know if I didn't belive her, and I was like " well I was getting the feeling you were blowing me off." She apologized, called me last night and we have a date scheduled for Friday.
