Little help with this girl, please?

I'm kinda confused about this girl who I have become newly classmates with. Our professor mentioned us of a pdf of a book that would be beneficial for us and I couldn't find it myself on the Internet.

Next day, I asked guys that I sit next to (not my friends) about it and they didn't have it. So I asked this girl and she seemed pretty shy and hesitant at first. But as we talked about the book and I asked her to send me it she nodded her head to and said yes adding to it that she'll send it to me.

I got busy with other stuff the same day and texted her in the evening asking if she remembered me talking to her about it. She said 'no' then. I don't know what went wrong or why was she reacting this way. She was so much in agreement about sending it to me and talking so softly later but then she simply told a 'no' when I asked her online.

What do you think could be the matter?

Funny thing, the same exact story happened to me. A girl I sat next to in class bought the book brand new, and she said it came with a cd that had the ebook. And I'm like, "Oh cool, do you mind emailing me the ebook?" And she said "yeah sure".

I followed up with a reminder or two, and then gradually she started weirder and weird. I couldn't quite put my finger on it, or accuse her, or clear the air.. I mean I think I might have tried, but she just got weirder and weirder, so I finally said fuck it, and started coming late to class and sitting in the back, and switching to the other lecture meeting.

Later I found out that she was lying and spreading rumors about me that I was her "stalker".

I wouldn't mention it, I'm usually a happy go lucky guy now, that sees the best in people. And it's highly unlikely that you're in a similar situation.

But just be aware that some girls are like that. Total bitches who would love to play the victim and make up stories instead of just being straightforward and saying they're not interested in any sort of social interaction at all.

Well that's weird... Maybe she didn't want to be rude and tell you no right away or she simply changed her mind later... Either way it's not really cool to lead people on...
