A little help with this girl please?

So there's this girl in my class and we're newly classmates. I was sitting behind her and I wanted a pdf file of a certain book. I asked guys nearby first then this girl. When I asked her, she looked at me then looked down, I asked her if she could send me the book pdf, she nodded her head a lot and said 'yes'. In evening of the same day, I texted her with 'I asked you about the book by so and so author.. Remember?'

She replied by 'no'

I said 'OK. nvm' then she said 'yeah'

This confused me, why do you think that she texted me 'no' to even acknowledging that I asked her for the pdf while she said yes in the classroom?

Since then, I have caught her and her friend looking at me at times.

I’m as clueless as you bro, although she might think you are interested in her for some reason just because you texted her (girls can be weird). I don't know none of my friends have ever done this but I feel like it could be possible if you are strange/unpopular (not trying to be mean I promise). She might also find you attractive and told her friend about you.

For a fact, I'm kind of mysterious and don't indulge with many people. But for things like getting things from classmates, I can talk. I can say I'm fairly good looking, my guy friends tell me about it all the time and girls stare at me as well.
