What happens when you block someone?

I want to block someone (people annoying me, creeps) so they don't see what I am doing. I don't want them to be able to see my questions or answers, or answer my questions and alter the arrows or anything.

Is this possible?

If not, what exactly happens when you block someone?

People are only as powerful as you let them be. Don't become obsessed with a couple of punks reading your questions & judging you. People are going to judge you, it's just a sad part of life. But whether or not you let that bother you, is up to you. Stay strong!

You can block them but that only means they can't answer your questions, comment on your answers or questions, rate your answer, or message you. But they can still see your questions and answers.

It means that they can't answer your questions, comment or rate your answers or message/IM you. You can't stop them from reading your answers or questions, though.

They can't answer/comment on your questions. As much as I hate FB, I wish blocking someone here would render them completely UNABLE to find you.

In order to stop them from seeing your questions or answers, they'd be blocked from all the people who comment on them! Would you want to be blocked from dozens of people because one person didn't like you?
