Girls, if men no longer existed, would you still wear make-up?

When I was young feminists blamed men for "beauty standards" now they are saying that men should stop assuming they want to look good for guys. Honestly I think the latter is more accurate. Women would want to look good even if they were no men around, it is just their way, but they sometimes feel guilty about wearing jewelry and makeup while there are people starving in the world (even though those two things don't really have anything to do with each other), so they try and blame "the patriarchy."

Of course they would as they would be waiting for the martin to land and be the one to start the new race. One always has to be prepared for that when the Aliens arrive. I doubt he will like those long scary nails that used be main tool for coke digging and ingestion... and those second or third extension eye lashes.

Alien probably is trying to get away from those sort of abnormalities. Even if 3 feet tall and looks like Yoda with a pencil penis... no worries !!

I think it will depend on age group. Under 25 possibly not. 25 to 30 quite possibly. 30 plus I'd think almost certainly.

Beauty is a big thing for girls. Happy to be told I'm wrong.

For shits and giggles. I was in a Walgreen's and I was waiting for a meds. So I looked in the make-up aisle. That stuff cost a lot of money.

I was thinking to myself, just to buy a starter kit of make-up would have to cost about a 100 bucks or more.

@humanearth yeah I wore it in the past and it's pretty expensive cuz even once you buy things need to be replaced every 2-3 months cuz of bacteria growth.
by the way walgreens is cheap makeup. Go to sephora in the mall. One tube of mascara can cost like 50-100$
