Probably not because from what I’ve seen in high school and college women going on dates always touch up their makeup in the bathroom. Honestly either way women wear makeup for compliments and attention. I’ve had friends who without makeup have told me that they feel “ugly” even though I personally think they look better without the gunk on their face. If women did still get plastic surgery when all men don’t exist anymore then they just have major insecurities and need to deal with them. Personally from observations I’ve noticed that women who wear makeup and dress up all the time are the most insecure because they get it into there heads that they aren’t pretty enough if they don’t give in to the latest fashion trends. Although who knows it’s just my view on this.

I personally could give a damn and a lot of women actually appreciate compliments from other women than from men. Well men don't get girls from working out, so it's more about social skills with women. If there is a point to working out like running faster or boxing then men would do it so they can dominate there opponent. Women beauty determines how many men flock to them, not there social skills or intelligence. So I makes sense that if girls don't feel the need to compete with the next girl to get the guy then there isn't any purpose to wearing makeup.

Um, who said men don’t get girls from working out? Maybe not in the gym setting, but having a nice physique improves a man’s sex appeal to woman substantially so that’s debatable. And even so, what about men who use money to get women. If all women on earth disappeared, would a man stop caring about having large finances? Probably not right? Because all men don’t earn money to get women.
Makeup is not made to appease a man, just like fashion isn’t made to appease a man. Do you think most men like heavy, overly cakey makeup looks? No, most men like girls who wear more natural looking makeup. I have never met a man who said they actually liked women who wear extremely heavy eyelash extensions, but it continues to be a trend because they aren’t wearing it for what a man thinks.
To think that women solely wear makeup for a man’s gaze is incredibly mysogynistic in itself. While it is a factor because obviously it’s a primitive instinct to attract a mate, most women wear makeup because they want to wear makeup and it makes them look pretty. Women will always be competitive and are competitive in any type of field where they may feel threatened by another woman, like if she makes more money than her, has a nicer car etc. you can even see that inmates in all women’s prisons still wear makeup and practice good hygiene because they WANT to. Explain that?

The one in prison is a poor argument because if you know anything about female prisoners, you would know that they turn lesbian while there locked up and get into relationship with masculine women, so even without men they try to attract attention to be protected by the stronger females in prison.

And ask any girl if she is a virgin because she wears heavy caked up make up and long eyelashes. Most girls get sex and relationships regardless of what they look like. But it not the same for men. As a man you have to make a girl feel comfortable which means talk to a girl.

Just use your brain and think for second, there are more woman than men in the world, but yet there are more men who are virgins than women. Based on that knowledge what can you conclude about men sexuality?

And you bring up the point of “boot camp”, but all women don’t wear makeup 24/7. On the daily I see most women go bare faced and do wear makeup for dressier occasions. If this was solely for the male gaze, they’d ALWAYS have on makeup at ALL TIMES.
And I know a lot of girls who wear makeup and they HATE men, very feminist, but they aren’t lesbians. Why? Because they want to.
Feeling “comfortable” is not a big selling point for a man. Most younger women these days want men who are high earners and attractive. And that’s what men strive for.
Also, please prove your theory that more men are virgins than women. Have you specifically asked them yourself for these numbers? You seem kind of incel-ish which is common for men on these sites.

Bottom line is I can tell you, as a woman, I wear makeup because I want to wear it. I don’t care about male attention and I appreciate compliments more from other women than men. I work in an environment with all women (no men whatsoever in my office) and all the women still wear makeup, get their hair done regularly because they WANT to.
Women who get their bodies done with enhancements to their boobs and butt are one thing, but a girl who puts on lipstick because it makes her lips look pretty is another. In fact, I know some men who wear makeup themselves, wear nail polish, groom like a woman, but they are still straight men. Do these men do this for the MALE gaze too? Yeah. Think about that.

Competition for what? Women just don't want to admit that it's for men because it makes you guys look needy. But stop and think about it. A girl that's seen as better looking than most women will get the most attention from men. And even in the black community women wear wigs to make there hair look straight so they can be attractive to white men. Asian women get surgery to remove there eyelids so they can be more attractive to white men, you just don't want to admit that on a biological level women want to be protected so the best way for them to feel like a man won't harm them is to be able attract there attention.
I'll admit that some enhancement don't make sense for sexual triggers like long eyelashes and long fingernails. But I think it still stems from the fact that a unique girl is more attractive because she gets notice by men, so when girls get tattoos and then every girls a tattoo, or when girls wear yoga pants then every girls start wearing yoga pants, or when gets get ass shots then every girls start going to the gym and training there ass. It's all to gain the most attention because attention means protection.

Well most girls said they only wore make when it was a school dance or prom. During there day to day they never wore makeup or even fancy clothes. They dress in baggy clothes like pajamas. So it seems that the opposite happens at a co-ed school were girls actually try to be as sexual as possible.
