Girls! how far would you go to not loose your male best friend?

Lose them as a best friend? That's a pretty loaded question. I'm not going to compete with someone else to be their best friend, and I'm not going to beg them to hang out with me if they lose interest in it. Growing is a natural part of life, and sometimes that means growing apart when two people are going down a path that does not stay parallel. And that's okay. I've had good friends who have gotten married and moved away. Probably around half of them have done so, in fact. And I smile back on my memories with them, and when I see their accomplishments on facebook, and whenever we see each other and get to visit, it makes me happy. But longing for things to stay as they were when you are a child just makes things unnecessarily harder. There are some types of change that you just have to embrace, and sometimes growing apart from a best friend is one of them.

I mean depending on how crucial they were to my life, I guess I could sacrifice some life essentials, and depending on who is right or wrong in an argument between them vs family/ other friends/ or boyfriend, I would always try to side with the one who is right, even if it's my male friend.

I mean a truly good friend is like family, or life fundamentals. We'd lose a limb for a rare gem like them. If they're not a true friend or they're the average joe, I guess I'd sacrifice some time, money, or housing space, but not much more than that. If they demand more, I'd probably cut them loose.

I don't have a male best friend and I don't want one. If the guy wants to be my best friend then he's probably gay AF. I have male friends but I would never call them my best friend not even to my female friends because that sounds juvenile.

Pretty far because we've been best friends since I was 13 and he was 14 and now I'm 18 and he's 19
